Remuneration and Benefits

• Monthly remuneration: ₹1,20,000 to ₹1,65,000 (inclusive of all taxes).
• No additional allowances or facilities are admissible apart from the stated remuneration.
• TA/DA will be admissible as per Pay Level 10 of the Central Government when on official tour.
• Working hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday to Friday), with possible additional hours or weekend duties during exigencies.
• Leave entitlement: 20 days per year (on pro-rata basis), with prior written approval of the controlling officer.
• Unavailed leave cannot be carried forward. One month leave without remuneration may be approved in special cases.
• Maternity leave will be granted as per the Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act, 2017.

Eligibility Criteria

Selection Process

• Shortlisting will be based on educational qualifications, experience, and suitability for the role.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview (communication via email only).
• Final selection will be made by the Competent Authority of APEDA.

Tenure and Termination

• Initial engagement period: 1 year (including a 3-week probation period).
• May be extended yearly based on performance, up to a maximum of 3 years.
• Either side can terminate the engagement with 30 days’ notice or pay in lieu thereof.
• Immediate termination possible in case of misconduct, false information, or unsatisfactory performance.

General Terms and Conditions

• Consultants must provide a Statement of Good Health from a recognized physician before joining.
• Appointment is subject to verification of educational and experience documents.
• Engagement is governed by the Official Secrets Act, 1923. Confidentiality must be maintained strictly.
• Consultants are prohibited from using APEDA’s name, emblem, or seal without prior written permission.
• Consultants must demonstrate high moral character, integrity, and dedication while performing duties.
• Any act of misconduct or violation may lead to immediate termination without notice or compensation.
• Consultants must comply with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
• In the event of death, injury, or illness during service, no compensation or appointment will be provided to the next of kin.
• Police verification report and medical fitness certificate must be submitted before engagement.
• Engagement does not confer any claim or right for future employment with APEDA or any Government Department.
