Bageshwar Police, while on fire safety duty at the fireworks/firecracker shops on the banks of Saryu Bagd located at Bagnath Temple, started the floating pump on the Sarayu river to deal with any kind of fire accident and successfully practiced throwing water from the pump through the delivery house pipe.

Head constable Naveen Chandra, district Champawat, posted on fair duty in Chowki Saryu Bagad, found a purse in the Bagnath temple area, in which 3 Aadhaar cards, 2 ATM SBI and Sakhi Taylor's slips, PAN card, and Rs 970 were found in the purse. On the basis of taking the mobile number of the owner of the purse, the said person was called and the purse was handed over to the woman.

CM Dhami prayed for the prosperity and progress of the state by offering prayers at Bagnath temple located in Bageshwar on the previous day. On this occasion, CM Dhami inaugurated the Bagnath temple-Numaishkhet bridge built at a cost of ₹ 316.91 lakh, Dharamshala and renovation work in Bagnath temple and black colored Patal and cladding work on the roof.
