खंडवा, मध्य प्रदेश निवासी एक श्रद्धालु प्रमोद जोशी, उम्र 62 वर्ष की यमुनोत्री धाम यात्रा के दौरान दिनांक 26.04.2023 की सांय को यमुनोत्री के मुख्य पड़ाव जानकीचट्टी में हृदय गति रुकने से आकस्मिक मृत्यु हो गई थी। सूचना पर थानाध्यक्ष बड़कोट, श्री गजेन्द्र बहुगुणा व उनकी पुलिस टीम द्वारा शव को ससम्मान बड़कोट लाकर परिजनों, स्थानीय जनता के सहयोग से हिन्दू रीति रिवाज़ के साथ दाह संस्कार किया गया। परिजनों द्वारा पुलिस के जवानों, नगरपालिका कर्मियों एवं देवतुल्य जनता का आभार प्रकट किया गया।

A devotee Pramod Joshi, a resident of Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, aged 62 years, died suddenly due to cardiac arrest at Jankichatti, the main stop of Yamunotri on the evening of 26.04.2023 during Yamunotri Dham Yatra. On information, Police Station Chief Barkot, Mr. Gajendra Bahuguna, and his police team brought the dead body to Barkot with respect and cremated it with the help of relatives and local people according to Hindu customs. The relatives expressed gratitude to the police personnel, municipal workers, and the godlike public.
