Snowfall in higher reaches of Chamoli today, rain in lower areas

According to reports, snowfall occurred in the higher regions of Chamoli district this afternoon, while rain was reported in the lower areas, causing a sharp drop in temperature. It is being reported that after snowfall at several places including Badrinath, Hemkund, Auli, Roopkund, intense cold has increased across the entire region.
