खंडवा, मध्य प्रदेश निवासी एक श्रद्धालु प्रमोद जोशी, उम्र 62 वर्ष अपने परिवार जनों के साथ चारधाम यात्रा पर आये थे, यमुनोत्री धाम यात्रा के दौरान 26.04.2023 की सांय को यमुनोत्री के मुख्य पड़ाव जानकीचट्टी में हृदय गति रुकने से उनकी आकस्मिक मृत्यु हो गई थी। तीर्थयात्री की आर्थिक स्थिति ठीक न होने के कारण एसएचओ बड़कोट, श्री गजेन्द्र बहुगुणा व उनकी पुलिस टीम द्वारा मानवता का परिचय देते हुये श्रद्धालु प्रमोद जी के शव को बड़कोट लाकर नगरपालिका एवं स्थानीय जनता के सहयोग से बड़कोट के तिलाड़ी घाट पर हिन्दू रीति रिवाज़ के साथ दाह संस्कार किया गया।

Devotee Pramod Joshi, resident of Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, aged 62 years, had come on Chardham Yatra with his family members, during the Yamunotri Dham Yatra,  he died suddenly due to cardiac arrest at Jankichatti, the main stop of Yamunotri. Due to poor financial condition of the pilgrims, SHO Barkot and his police team introduced the humanity by bringing the dead body of devotee Pramod ji to Barkot with the cooperation of the municipality and the local people, at Tiladi Ghat in Barkot with Hindu rituals.
