Last day, a young man Dharampal Singh was arrested by the Uttarkashi Police while transporting 11 boxes of illegal English liquor in a vehicle near Bhatia on Barkot Dehradun road under the Barkot police station area.

मौसम विभाग के अनुसार  27 और 28 अप्रैल को पर्वतीय इलाकों में कहीं-कहीं हल्की बारिश बर्फबारी और बिजली गिरने की संभावना है। विशेषकर उत्तरकाशी, चमोली, पिथौरागढ़, बागेश्वर जनपदों के कुछ स्थानों में शेष पर्वतीय जनपदों में कहीं-कहीं हल्की बारिश-बर्फबारी और बिजली गिरने को लेकर येलो अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। 29 और 30 अप्रैल को पर्वतीय इलाकों के साथ ही मैदानी क्षेत्रों में भी मौसम का मिजाज बदलने की संभावना है।

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain, snowfall, and lightning at some places in the mountainous areas on 27 and 28 April. A yellow alert has been issued especially in some places of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, and Bageshwar districts for light rain-snowfall and lightning in some places in the rest of the hilly districts. On April 29 and 30, along with the hilly areas, there is a possibility of a change in weather patterns in the plains.

बीते दिन यातायात पुलिस उत्तरकाशी द्वारा गंगोत्री यात्रा रूट के मुख्य पडाव उत्तरकाशी, ज्ञानसू, तांबाखानी, सब्जी मंडी, भटवाडी टैक्सी स्टैण्ड आदि स्थानों पर चैकिंग अभियान चलाकर रोड पर रखी भवन निर्माण सामग्री, अवैध अतिक्रमण व नो पार्किंग मे खडे वाहनों के खिलाफ चालानी व क्रेन से टो कार्रवाई की गयी। पुलिस द्वारा आमजन को यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरूक कर सुचारु यातायात व्यवस्था मे पुलिस का सहयोग करने की अपील की गयी।

गंगोली हाट क्षेत्र में नाबालिक लड़की के शादी किये जाने की सूचना पर पिथौरागढ़ पुलिस द्वारा नाबालिक लड़की  की शादी को रूकवाकर दोनों परिवारों की काउंसलिंग की गयी। परिवार जनों द्वारा कानूनी प्रावधानों की जानकारी के अभाव में अपनी गलती स्वीकार करते हुए लड़की के बालिग होने पर शादी किये जाने के सम्बन्ध में लिखित सहमति दी गयी। पुलिस द्वारा दोनों परिवारों को भविष्य में इस प्रकार का कृत्य करने पर वैधानिक कार्यवाही  करने के सम्बन्ध में चेतावनी दी गयी ।

On the information about the marriage of a minor girl in the Gangoli Haat area, the Pithoragarh Police stopped the marriage of the minor girl, and counseling was done for both families. Accepting their mistake in the absence of knowledge of the legal provisions by the family members, written consent was given regarding the marriage of the girl when she attains majority. Both families were warned by the police regarding legal action if they commit such an act in the future.
