लोहाघाट बाजार में 7 वर्षीय लक्ष्मी जो अपनी माताजी से बिछुड़ गयी थी जिसको डायल 112 के कर्मचारी व ट्रैफिक डयूटी में नियुक्त कानि हेम मेहरा द्वारा वाहन के माइक से अलाउंसमेंट के माध्यम से प्रचार कर उक्त लक्ष्मी को सकुशल उसके माताजी के सुपुर्द किया जिसका स्थानीय जनता व छोटी बच्ची के माताजी द्वारा चंपावत पुलिस की सराहना कर प्रशंसा की गई।

मुख्य सचिव डॉ. एस. एस. संधु ने बीते दिन सचिवालय में राज्य स्तर पर निराश्रित गौवंश के रहने के लिए गौशालाओं की उचित व्यवस्था के सम्बन्ध में बैठक ली। मुख्य सचिव ने शहरों में निराश्रित गौवंश के लिए गौशालाओं के निर्माण किए जाने हेतु जिलाधिकारियों को भूमि चिन्हित किए जाने के निर्देश दिए। मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि गौशालाओं का संचालन एनजीओ के माध्यम से कराया जाए।

फायर यूनिट बड़कोट की टीम द्वारा बीते दिन श्री गुरु राम राय पब्लिक स्कूल दोबाटा, बड़कोट मे ‘फायर जनजागरुकता कार्यक्रम’ आयोजित कर छात्र-छात्राओं व स्कूल स्टाफ को प्राथमिक अग्निशमन उपकरणो तथा अग्नि दुर्घटना के समय उनका उपयोग की जानकारी दी गयी। अग्नि दुर्घटना के समय बरती जाने वाली  सावधानियों के सम्बन्ध विस्तृत जानकारी देकर कृत्रिम आग के डेमो के माध्यम से छात्र-छात्राओं को प्राथमिक अग्निशमन उपकरण चलाने का प्रशिक्षण दिया गया।

The team of Fire Unit Barkot organized a 'Fire Public Awareness Program' at Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School, Dobata, Barkot and informed the students and school staff about basic fire fighting equipments and their use during fire accidents. By giving detailed information regarding the precautions to be taken at the time of fire accident, students were trained to operate primary fire fighting equipment through artificial fire demo.
