कैबिनेट मंत्री डाॅ0 धन सिंह रावत ने सेलाकुई में सगन्ध पौधा केन्द्र का निरीक्षण किया और सगन्ध फसलों की खेती एवं उनके उपयोग के बारे में जानकारी प्राप्त की। इसके अलावा पौध का रोपण भी किया। सगन्ध फसलों की खेती को हिमालयी क्षेत्र के लिए वरदान माना जाता है। इन फसलों के कठिन परिस्थितियों में उगने की क्षमता के कारण वर्तमान में वे बेहतरीन नगदी फसल के रूप में स्थापित हो रही हैं, किसानों को लाभ हो रहा है।

Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat inspected the Aroma Plant Center in Selaqui and obtained information about the cultivation of aromatic crops and their uses. Apart from this, saplings were also planted. The cultivation of aromatic crops is considered a boon for the Himalayan region. एसडीआरएफ उत्तराखंड द्वारा आईटीआई कॉलेज, अल्मोड़ा में रेड क्रॉस संस्थान द्वारा संचालित कार्यक्रम में छात्र छात्राओं को आपदा प्रबंधन एवं सुरक्षा संबंधित जानकारी, प्राथमिक चिकित्सा उपचार, लिफ्टिंग एंड मूविंग पेशेन्ट, वैली क्रॉसिंग, सीपीआर व रेस्क्यू उपकरणों की महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी देकर जागरूक किया गया।

सीएम धामी ने सचिवालय में राज्य स्तरीय एनसीओआरडी की बैठक लेते हुए अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि नशीले पदार्थों पर प्रभावी रोकथाम के लिए कार्ययोजना बनायी जाए। उन्होंने दवाइयों के रूप में नशीले पदार्थों के प्रचलन को रोकने के लिए भी एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत लगातार कार्यवाई किए जाने के निर्देश दिए। इसके लिए संयुक्त टीम बनाकर छापेमारी की कारवाई की जाए। हल्द्वानी और कोटद्वार में बनाए जा रहे नशा मुक्ति केन्द्रों की संचालन की शीघ्र कार्यवाही की जाए।

He also directed to take continuous action under the NDPS Act to stop the circulation of intoxicants in the form of medicines. For this, a joint team should be formed and raids should be conducted. रूद्रप्रयाग- रोठिया गांव जाने वाले मार्ग पर एक स्कूटी सवार व्यक्ति फिसलकर लगभग 100 मीटर गहरी खाई में गिर गया। मौके पर पहुंची स्थानीय पुलिस और एसडीआरएफ टीम ने कडी मशक्कत से घायल व्यक्ति को खाई से रेस्क्यू कर अस्पताल पहुंचाया।

पिथौरागढ़ में कार अनियंत्रित होकर गहरी खाई में जा गिरी। हादसे में पिता-पुत्र समेत तीन लोगों की मौत हो गई। जानकारी के मुताबिक मृतक पिता-पुत्र कनालीछीना के सतगढ़ गांव जा रहे थे। जबकि तीसरा युवक धारचूला का बताया जा रहा है। घटना की सूचना पाकर रेस्क्यू टीम मौके पर पहुंची और मृतकों के शवों को खाई से बाहर निकाला।

The car went out of control and fell into a deep ditch in Pithoragarh. Three people including father and son died in the accident. According to the information, the deceased father and son were going to Satgarh village of Kanalichina. While the third youth is said to be from Dharchula. After receiving information about the incident, the rescue team reached the spot and took out the bodies of the deceased from the ditch.

38 दिन के बाद सिलक्यारा सुरंग का निर्माण कार्य दोबारा शुरू हो गया है। बता दें सुरंग का निर्माण कार्य कर रही कंपनी पहले बड़कोट सिरे से काम कर रही है। अब केवल 480 मीटर ही सुरंग बची हुई है। जांच होने के बाद निर्माण कार्य को शुरू किया जायेगा। बताया जा रहा कि सुरंग का निर्माण नए साल में पूरा करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है।

सीएम धामी ने जनपद ऊधमसिंह नगर स्थित लोहियाहेड कैम्प कार्यालय में क्षेत्र की जनता से मुलाकात की तथा उनकी समस्याएं सुनी और सीएम ने समस्याओं के निस्तारण हेतु संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए। सीएम ने कहा कि जनसमस्याओं का समाधान तेजी से हो इसके लिए जिलाधिकारियों को नियमित रूप से जन समस्याओं को सुनने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।
