राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (सेनि) से राजभवन में बुधवार को ब्रुनेई में भारत के उच्चायुक्त आलोक अमिताभ डिमरी एवं युगांडा में भारत के उच्चायुक्त उपेन्द्र सिंह रावत ने शिष्टाचार भेंट की। इस अवसर पर राज्यपाल और उच्चायुक्तों के मध्य विभिन्न विषयों सहित हाल में ही सम्पन्न हुए ग्लोबल इंवेस्टर्स समिट के सम्बन्ध में चर्चा हुई। राज्यपाल ने उच्चायुक्तों से कहा कि जिन देशों में वे कार्य कर रहे हैं वहां के विश्वविद्यालयों की बेस्ट प्रैक्टिस उत्तराखण्ड के विश्वविद्यालयों के साथ साझा की जाये। साथ ही विश्वविद्यालयों के विद्यार्थियों विशेषकर बालिकाओं को भी इन देशों में अनुभव प्राप्त करने के लिए शैक्षिक भ्रमण के आयोजित किए जांए।

India's High Commissioner to Brunei Alok Amitabh Dimri and India's High Commissioner to Uganda Upendra Singh Rawat paid a courtesy visit to Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. On this occasion, various topics including the recently concluded Global Investors Summit were discussed between the Governor and the High Commissioners. The Governor asked the High Commissioners to share the best practices of the universities of the countries where they are working with the universities of Uttarakhand.
