कनखल स्थित आशा ज्वैलरी शोरूम पर हुई चोरी के मामले में हरिद्वार पुलिस द्वारा पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश के 03 शातिर बदमाशों को ₹ 2.5 लाख की ज्वैलरी व घटना में प्रयुक्त स्विफ्ट कार बरामद कर गिरफ्तार किया गया। पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश के इस गैंग द्वारा शादी समारोह में शामिल होकर महिलाओं की ज्वैलरी चोरी कर लेते थे एवं पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश में इस प्रकार की लगभग 18 घटनाओं को पूर्व में अंजाम दिया जा चुका है ।

In the case of theft at Asha Jewelry Showroom located in Kankhal, Haridwar Police arrested 03 vicious miscreants from Western Uttar Pradesh after recovering jewelry worth ₹ 2.5 lahks and a Swift car used in the incident. This gang in Western Uttar Pradesh used to steal women's jewelry by participating in marriage ceremonies and about 18 such incidents have been carried out in the past in Western Uttar Pradesh.
