उत्तराखंड से देश की पहली हिमालयी एयर सफारी की शुरूआत की है। उत्तराखंड की पहली जायरोकॉप्टर सफारी का ट्रायल सफल हो गया है। बता दें कि हरिद्वार के बैरागी कैंप में जायरोक्राप्टर की उड़ान का ट्रायल किया गया जो कि सफल हो गया है। अब प्रदेश में जल्द ही इसकी शुरूआत की जाएगी। पर्यटक इसका आनंद ले पाएंगे। जाइरोकॉप्टर एक छोटे हेलीकॉप्टर की तरह दिखता है लेकिन इसमें रोटर्स को घुमाने वाला कोई इंजन नहीं होता है। रोटर्स बस स्व.चालित होते हैं जिसे ‘ऑटोरोटेट’ कहा जाता है।

A gyrocopter looks like a small helicopter but has no engines to rotate the rotors. The rotors simply move themselves which is called ‘autorotate’.
