अल्मोड़ा पुलिस ने विभिन्न स्कूलों व मोहल्लों में महिला सुरक्षा के प्रति अभियान चलाकर छात्राओं व महिलाओं को विस्तारपूर्वक बताया कि किस प्रकार संकट के समय आत्मरक्षा के तरीकों से अपने आप को सुरक्षित कर सकते है।     इसके अतिरिक्त महिला सुरक्षा कानूनों, मानव तस्करी आदि के बारे में जागरुक कर उत्तराखंड पुलिस एप के गौरा शक्ति, एसओएस बटन व महिला हेल्प लाईन नंबर 1090, डायल 112 का उपयोग करने की जानकारी दी गई । उपस्थित महिलाओं का गौरा शक्ति में रजिस्ट्रेशन भी करवाया गया ।
