सीएम धामी ने बीते दिन सचिवालय से परिवहन विभाग द्वारा तैयार किए गए ऑटोमैटिक नम्बर प्लेट रिकग्निशन सिस्टम (ए.एन.पी.आर) का शुभारंभ किया। इससे प्रदेश के प्रमुख मार्गों में यातायात के नियमों के अनुपालन एवं कर अपवंचन संबंधी प्रकरणों में ऑनलाइन मॉनिटरिंग की सुविधा होगी। इस अवसर पर सीएम धामी ने कहा कि यातायात के नियमों के पालन एवं सड़क सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से यह एक अच्छी शुरूआत है। ए.एन.पी.आर कैमरे लगने से लोग यातायात के नियमों का पालन करेंगे।

CM Dhami inaugurated the Automatic Number Plate Recognition System (ANPR) prepared by the Transport Department from the secretariat on the previous day. With this, there will be the facility for online monitoring in cases related to compliance with traffic rules and tax evasion on major roads of the state. On this occasion, CM Dhami said that this is a good beginning in terms of following traffic rules and road safety. With the installation of ANPR cameras, people will follow the traffic rules.
