मुख्य सचिव डॉ. एस. एस. संधु ने बीते दिन सचिवालय में राज्य स्तर पर निराश्रित गौवंश के रहने के लिए गौशालाओं की उचित व्यवस्था के सम्बन्ध में बैठक ली। मुख्य सचिव ने शहरों में निराश्रित गौवंश के लिए गौशालाओं के निर्माण किए जाने हेतु जिलाधिकारियों को भूमि चिन्हित किए जाने के निर्देश दिए। मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि गौशालाओं का संचालन एनजीओ के माध्यम से कराया जाए।

Chief Secretary Dr. S. S. Sandhu took a meeting in the secretariat regarding the proper arrangement of cow shelters for destitute cows to stay at the state level. The CS instructed the District Magistrates to mark the land for the construction of Gaushalas for the destitute cows in the cities. The CS said that the operation of Gaushalas should be done through NGOs.
