कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने विधानसभा, देहरादून में महिला सशक्तिकरण एवं बाल विकास के विभागीय सचिव, निदेशक व अन्य अधिकारियों के साथ महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर समीक्षा बैठक ली। बैठक में उन्होंने पूर्व में दिये गये निर्देशों के अनुपालन के साथ ही आगामी योजनाओ के ऊपर भी विस्तृत चर्चा की। उन्होंने कहा कि एकल महिलाओं को सशक्त करने और उन्हें स्वरोजगार से जोड़ने के लिए 75 प्रतिशत की सब्सिडी के प्रस्ताव को कैबिनेट में लाया जाएगा। एकल महिला योजना में अविवाहित, निराश्रित, तलाकशुदा, एसिड अटैक और परित्यक्ता महिलाएं शामिल हैं।

Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya took a review meeting on important issues with the Departmental Secretary, Director, and other officials of Women Empowerment and Child Development in the Assembly, Dehradun. In the meeting, along with compliance with the instructions given earlier, she also discussed in detail the upcoming plans. She said that a proposal of a 75 percent subsidy will be brought into the cabinet to empower single women and connect them with self-employment.
