Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj met Union Minister of State for Panchayati Raj Professor S.P. Singh Baghel in New Delhi and thanked him for supporting direct elections for the post of Block Pramukh and District Panchayat President to curb large-scale horse-trading and corruption among Panchayat members.
