On receiving information that an ambulance carrying a pregnant woman was stranded due to blockage of the Pithoragarh-Thal road near Pithoragarh-Bisabjad, the SDRF reached the spot and helped the woman cross the blocked road with the help of a stretcher, shifted her to another ambulance and sent her to the hospital for treatment.
