According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain along with lightning in Bageshwar district of Kumaon division on August 7, for which the meteorologists have issued an orange alert. While there is also a possibility of light to moderate rain in the capital Dehradun, Nainital, Pithoragarh and Champawat districts.
