During the Kavad Yatra, Kavad pilgrims were cooking food on Petromax after parking their pick-up vehicle in Mangalore on Haridwar-Delhi highway. Suddenly the Petromax caught fire and a Kanwadiya's leg caught fire. The fire service personnel reached the spot and admitted the injured person in the fire accident to the nearest hospital.
