Efforts have been started to expand Pantnagar Airport and make it an international airport. A decision has also been taken to build an Aero City outside Pantnagar Airport. While the construction of the Aero City will provide employment to local people, it will also promote tourism in Kumaon division and will also accelerate industrial investment.
