Subodh Rakesh, who contested elections from Bhagwanpur assembly seat on BJP ticket in 2017 and who contested elections from BSP in 2022, has now joined BJP. BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt said that Subodh Rakesh has a huge public base and his joining the Bharatiya Janata Party will further increase the BJP's vote percentage in the Lok Sabha elections.
