According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of getting relief from fog after January 25. The western disturbance may become active in the state in the next few days. After which there is a possibility of rain due to the change in weather after January 28. There will be relief from dry and freezing cold only after it rains. For January 25, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of dense fog in Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar.
