During his stay in Delhi, Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj paid a courtesy visit to Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari. He presented him with the model of Chardham and also discussed various schemes while apprising him about the current status of road construction in the state. Apart from this, he also met the Union Minister of State for Panchayati Raj, Kapil Moreshwar Patil, and informed him about all the work being done in Uttarakhand towards the empowerment of Panchayats.
