When a fire broke out in a three-storey restaurant and bakery shop located in Naugaon Bazar, Uttarkashi, the Fire Station Barkot, Fire Unit Naugaon team immediately reached the spot and started fire fighting and rescue work. Due to the terrible fire, the team of Fire Unit Purola was also called to the spot for rescue. The fire was spreading rapidly due to the explosion of 02 cylinders, the remaining 04 cylinders were taken out from inside by the fire team and after a lot of hard work, the fire was brought under control.
