Yesterday the doors of Gangotri Dham were closed for winter. Mother Ganga's palanquin has left for Mukhwa. On the auspicious occasion of Annakoot, the priests of Gangotri Dham were closed for the winter season at 11.45 pm as per the rituals. Devotees from all over the country and abroad became witnesses of this. During this, the devotees chanted Jai Maa Ganga. Devotees sought blessings of happiness and prosperity from Mother Ganga.
