An elephant died after being hit by a train. The incident took place in the Ampokhara range of the Terai Western Forest Department of Ramnagar. The forest department team is preparing for the post-mortem of the elephant. There was a stir in the forest department after the incident. The age of the deceased male elephant is said to be around 25 years. Marks of hitting a train were found on the elephant's carcass. The Forest Department team has started investigating the matter.
