Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Yamuna Ghati of Uttarkashi at 3.49 pm on Sunday. Apart from this, light tremors of earthquakes were also felt in Purola, Barkot, and Mori tehsil. As soon as the tremors of the earthquake were felt, people sleeping in their houses got scared and started running outside. The intensity of the earthquake was 2.9 on the Richter scale. At present there is no information about any damage due to the earthquake.
