According to the Meteorological Department today, an alert has been issued for heavy rain till August 25 for some places in Dehradun, Pauri, Nainital, Bageshwar, Udham Singh Nagar, and Champawat districts. There is a possibility of thunder with lightning in other districts as well. After August 27, there may be some relief from the monsoon.
