Passenger was returning after visiting Yamnotri Dham, drowned in Yamuna river

A traveler returning from Yamunotri Dham died due to drowning in the river. According to the information received, an elderly pilgrim from Maharashtra was washed away on Tuesday morning due to slipping in the Yamuna River. SDRF launched a rescue operation to find the passenger. After searching continuously for three hours, the dead body of the passenger was found near Kharadi Jhula bridge, one km away from the spot.
