Rohit of Uttarakhand has brought laurels to the state. Rohit Bhatt, a resident of Tehri district, has successfully climbed Mount Elbrus situated in Russia, the highest mountain on the European continent. Rohit set a world record by hoisting India's national flag on Mount Elbrus on the morning of 19 August 2023. Even before this, Rohit made a world record by conquering Mount Kilimanjaro peak of Tanzania.
