The process of landslide is still going on in Jakhan of Vikasnagar. The District Magistrate has given instructions to provide government assistance as per government norms to the affected families in the root cause of the disaster. After this government help has been given to the affected by SDM and Tehsildar. To provide relief to the victims, the administration distributed checks of total state assistance of Rs 13 lakh to 10 rural families affected by the calamity at the rate of Rs 1 lakh 30 thousand per family.
