The intermittent rains in Chamoli have caused havoc. There was a landslide due to rain on the Badrinath National Highway near Bhanerpani Pipalkoti on Badrinath National Highway. The Peepalkoti road was damaged due to debris from the hill. Devotees and tourists have been stopped at safe places due to the route being damaged.
