Due to heavy rains, the Rishikesh-Badrinath highway has been closed due to debris in Kameda and Kanarprayag. More than 150 vehicles are stranded on the road due to the closure of the highway. People are facing problems due to the closure of roads. Local people and schoolchildren are facing the most problems. There was debris at Mallyapod on the Karnprayag-Gwaldam highway which has been removed. While the highway is still closed in Harmony. Efforts are being made to open the highway.
