In the year 2022, the main accused Javed resident of Saharanpur was arrested by the STF Uttarakhand Police from Vikasnagar after the miscreants who came to robbed goldsmiths in Luxor Haridwar fired several rounds on Cheetah police personnel. Naushad, Ataulkhan, Sabir, and Furkan involved in the incident have been arrested and sent to jail by the Haridwar Police.
