The suggestion to change the name of Lansdowne to Jaswantgarh has been sent to the Defense Ministry. Earlier, the Ministry of Defense had sought suggestions from the Cantonment Board to change the name. Three days ago, in the meeting of the Cantonment Board, a proposal has been passed to change the name of Lansdowne to Jaswantgarh in the name of Veer Shaheed Jaswant Singh.
