On June 19, 2023, a fire broke out in Masala Town restaurant under Rudrapur area. The advance work was started by the fire unit which reached the spot and three people trapped on the roof of the site were rescued safely. The fire was completely extinguished by prompt action by the unit and prevented from growing.
