Governor Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd) participated as the chief guest in the 'Contribution of Tribal Heroes in Freedom Movement' festival organized by Seva Prakalp Sansthan, Uttarakhand at Khatima on Tuesday. During this, he visited the exhibition of pictures of freedom fighters in the campus. The Governor said that the tribal community has made significant and great contribution in the freedom struggle of the country.
