A total of 06 pilgrims were trapped after being hit by an avalanche at Atalkoti on the Shri Hemkund Sahib footpath. ITBP, Uttarakhand Police and SDRF rescued 5 pilgrims and took them to a safe place. The body of a female devotee has also been recovered.
