On Saturday, a cycle rally was organized under the guidance of Executive Director of AIIMS Rishikesh, Professor Dr. Meenu Singh. On this occasion, she told that apart from being a reliable sustainable means of transport, the bicycle is also very beneficial from the point of view of public health. She told that the main purpose of celebrating World Bicycle Day is to convey the message of reducing environmental pollution, keeping people healthy, motivating them to cycle daily, preserving the existence of the bicycle and promoting its utility.
