Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj made a surprise inspection last day at Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Complex, Dehradun of Uttara Contemporary Art Gallery built to give special recognition to the artists and contemporary paintings of Uttarakhand and found lack of sufficient staff on the spot and lack of work by artists including wall painting. He gave strict instructions to the higher authority in connection with the non-cleanliness of the paintings made by him.
