In Kapkot, Bageshwar, on receiving information about the attempt of suicide by a girl from Dulam bridge, Fire Service Uttarakhand Police arrived in casual clothes after acting sensibly and won the trust of the girl. After the operation which lasted for about 4 hours, the girl was safely rescued and handed over to her family members.
