The effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakaran and Meghnath after the arrogant Ravana was killed by Shri Ram at many places in Haridwar like Bhupatwala, Bhimgoda, Rodi Belwala, Mayapur, Kankhal, Jagjitpur, Jwalapur, Shivalik Nagar, Sector-4, Sidkul, Laksar, Mangalore, Roorkee etc. It was successfully combusted amidst the clamor of a huge crowd and the police system.
