According to the weather bulletin of today at 10 o'clock by the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued for heavy rainfall at isolated places in Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Bageshwar, and Nainital districts of Uttarakhand state. In the vulnerable areas, mainly Mukteshwar, Bhowali, Nainital, Ramnagar, Betalghat, Chorgaliya, and Kathgodam, due to landslides and rock falls, there is a possibility of the excessive rise and flow in the water level of river drains in the hilly area with obstruction and erosion in the highways at some places.
