Under the direction of Dr. Pralayankar Nath, Chief Veterinary Officer, District Chamoli, under the development block Gairsain, self-employment one-day poultry birds (50 units) were distributed to 50 scheduled caste beneficiaries under the Backyard Poultry Farming Scheme to promote self-employment in Gram Sabha, Naugaon and Silanga. And all the animal owners were given information on important points to prevent diseases in poultry birds.
