Shri Hemkund Sahib Yatra Year 2022-23, a temporary veterinary hospital/disease control post was established by the Animal Husbandry Department in Chamoli district in the Gram Sabha, Pulna. Chief Veterinary Officer Chamoli Dr. Pralayankar Nath discussed with the animal husbandry and travel operator Eco-Development Committee regarding the livestock insurance scheme for insurance of animals. Along with this, the livestock owners were motivated to get the work done keeping in mind the animal welfare in the operation of the horses and mules.
