On 12 December, a fire broke out in a grocery shop in Devnai market in Garud (Bageshwar). On receiving the information, the Fire Service Garud reached the spot and extinguished the fire in the shop with great difficulty. Also, the fire was prevented from spreading to other shops. There was no loss of life due to the fire.
